    Hiya!

You can achieve the change when you hover over the image by using a text caption! All you have to do is make the text caption the same size as the image and give it a link :)

    Enjoy!

    Hi Steve!

This is how you find your website's A-Record :

    1. Access Webydo's Dashboard and then click the website's Settings button.

    2. Under the General tab, you will find your website's A-Record, it will look something like this: 74.63.35.16

It's just a way of identifying a website.

    :)

AdminMichael (Forum Admin, Webydo) commented  ·

    Hi Steven!

    Thanks for your question :)
If you've already bought your domain name all you have to do is redirect the A-record on your domain provider so that it points to: 74.63.35.16. For a video on exactly how to do it, please visit our Knowledge Base here: http://participate.webydo.com/knowledgebase/articles/235616-connecting-your-site-to-an-existing-domain

    Hi Callum!

    Thanks for asking

    Open the "Pages" menu.

When you hover over each of the pages, you'll see "Page Settings", "Duplicate", "Delete" and "SEO"

    Select "SEO"

Open the advanced settings and fill in the page URL

If the page's title contains 2 or more words, use the - symbol between them and don't use capital letters

For example: if the page's title is "my work", call it "my-work" in the page URL field

And don't forget to click save and publish!

    :)

    Hi Tomomi!

It's much simpler than you would think!

    Just follow these instructions:

The video link should look like this in the URL:

    https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=620141231361941

Copy the last 15 numbers and insert them into the code below where the Xs are.

    <iframe src="http://www.facebook.com/video/embed?video_id=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX&quot; width="600" height="350" frameborder="0"></iframe>

You can change the width and height to whatever you want.

Draw a widget element, set it to HTML.

Paste the code in the code window on the right and click “update”.

    :)

    Hi Maria!

That's a great question, and the answer, I'm happy to report, is YES!

If you bought a plan already and want to change the site it's connected to just shoot us an email with the site ID number of the new website :)

    Hello,

I noticed that this post was a bit outdated so I just wanted to update you all.

We have made it easier to link to emails now.

    To link text:
    1. Bring in a text element
    2. Edit the text as you wish
    3. Highlight the text you want to link
    4. Click on the link icon in the table directly above the text box
    5. Choose e-mail from the dropdown list
    6. Set up your email settings
    7. Choose your paragraph style for the link
    8. save!

    To link an image:

    1. Bring in a text element
    2. Place cursor at begining of paragraph
    3. Click image icon in table directly above text box
    4. Upload your image, and set the size
    5. Highlight the image (just like text)
    6. Click on the link icon in the table directly above the text box
    7. Choose e-mail from the…

    Hi Amelie!

    Thanks for the Q!

This is possible but in two formats- in widgets or menu elements.
Using a widget is very simple:
    1. Drag a widget element onto the canvas
    2. Switch it to “HTML”
    3. Paste this code using your email:
    <html>
    <a href="mailto:someone@example.com?Subject=Hello%20There" target="_top">
    Send Mail</a>
    </html>

    -------------

Using a menu element if you’d like to edit the links design.

    To create a Mailto: link
    1) Go To pages menu
    2) Create a new menu
    3) Create "New Link" (NOT a new page)
    4) Insert your email address into the Title Name
    5) Select Link Type - External Link
    6) In the Page Name section, remove/delete the "http://&quot;
    7) In the Page Name section, paste mailto:someone@example.com (using your mail)
    8) Save & Exit Pages Menu
    9) Drag a Menu Tool onto the canvas
    10) In the Toolbar, change the "Select Menu" field to Menu 1 (or whatever you named your new menu)

    Hi Charles!

We have multiple servers across the USA and the UK and we use a CDN called Akami. We guarantee over a 99% uptime so that your sites on our servers our completely secure.
The price for upgrading your website includes the hosting - there is no additional hosting fee, and of course, if you have created a site that is on the Webydo subdomain, this is hosted completely free of charge.

If this doesn't answer your question let me know :)

    Hi Maurizio!

Don't worry! This is completely normal!

First off, we thank you for your continued patience and understanding. Currently the Webydo mobile version is still in BETA and we are in the process of perfecting & fine-tuning the features for you. At this time we welcome any and all suggestions to help you make this as flawless as possible.
Currently, the mobile URL will display your Webydo subdomain and redirect to your site’s domain. We are working on a solution for this at this very moment. I would suggest you keep using the mobile version of the website since it's more compatible with mobile devices, making your website more accessible and user friendly.
