    Hello,

I want to clear things up for you, the reason that it appears that you were charged was that you chose PayPal as you payment method.

PayPal keeps the first payment on hold for the time of the trial, to ensure that the funds are there should you choose to continue with Webydo. It's used as your first month payment. The email PayPal sent you should have told you that the money is on hold, not processed.

I'm sorry for the confusion. Our support team has cancelled your trial so PayPal should have returned the funds from on hold back to your account already.

If you don't want the payment to be on hold, I would suggest using a credit card instead for the trial.

    Hello,

To answer your question "My current plan will stay the same, untill it ends and then…. ??" this means we will never force you to upgrade to the 2016-2019 pricing structure. Your current Webydo plan will continue to renew at the same cost unless you choose to cancel or upgrade on your own.

To clarify the pricing - the reason the prices seem so high is that Webydo became all inclusive in February of 2016. The old pricing model charged a $60 fee per website when a domain or CMS user was added. This fee has been removed.

Per website the new plans are cheaper, and the pro plan remains the same. With this new all-inclusive pricing, we were also able to offer monthly plans instead of only Annual.

    To break down the pricing:

    OLD PRO PLAN (2015 Pricing)

    Plan $300 a year
    Hosting $60 per website
    10 Websites $600 + Plan $300 = $900

    NEW PRO PLAN (2016-2019 Pricing)

    Plan $90 a month or $900 a year
10 Websites = no additional cost

    OLD TEAM PLAN (2015 Pricing)

    Plan $450 a year
    Hosting $60 per website
    50 Websites $3,000 + Plan $450 = $3,450
    (breakdown of $69 per website)

    NEW TEAM PLAN (2016-2019 Pricing)

    Plan $180 a month or $1,800
30 Websites = no additional cost
    (breakdown of $60 per website)

    OLD AGENCY PLAN (2015 Pricing)

    Plan $1,020 a year
    Hosting $60 per website
    100 Websites $6,000 + Plan $1020 = $7020
(breakdown of $70 per website on Yearly plan)

    NEW AGENCY PLAN (2016-2019 Pricing)

    Plan $480 a month or $4,800
100 Websites = no additional cost
(breakdown of $48 per website on Yearly plan)

To edit the phone number, use our "Call" button elements instead of the text element.

That way you can setup the button with your own design.

We have 6 buttons to choose from, and all have "call" in the name to help you identify which to use.

    Hello Michael,

When you send a message on chat while we are offline, you will still get a reply. It's just like sending in an email or opening a case. Once our office is open, a support rep will reply to the questions you posted on chat and you will receive the responses via email if no longer logged into your account.

If the form on our website is not currently working, the best way to email support is to directly message them: support@webydo.com.

I can see that you mentioned Joseph in your post, he is no longer working at Webydo, which is why his email and phone number will not be working for you.

I will have the tech team check out the form on your website. If you have any more information please send it to support directly.

    Hello,

The numbers turning blue is due to the way mobile phones read numbers.
We will soon be adding a feature for a click to call button. This will solve the issue of the links turning blue when on a mobile device.

    Hope this helps!

    Hello

We actually updated the way our sites export over a year ago - and you no longer need to do any editing to the code. All the files are ready for upload!

AdminMichael (Forum Admin, Webydo) commented  ·

    Hello Nico,

All of the files are exported together into one zip file.

One of the folders has the site id (webydo.xxxxxx.com folder)

Go inside the folder and open all of them on notepad or any other similar softwares --> find and replace all "../" with "/" and save all files (you should have 4 in total).

Once everything is replaced, drag all the files outside the folder.

So you'll have all the folders + the 4 files (delete the webydo folder after you drag them out).

Zip the whole thing and then upload it on the server.

If you have more questions, please feel free to contact our support department.

    Aaron,

You can purchase a custom email from Webydo - We are a Google Apps reseller.

It's done from the Domain Manager window.

AdminMichael (Forum Admin, Webydo) commented  ·

    Hello Aaron,

We never promised a mega menu, I saw that it was something we were looking into adding.

Unfortunately the mega menu didn't get included in our menu element update because it's quite complicated. But we did release 4 new menu's which were easier to edit and offered new hover effects.

AdminMichael (Forum Admin, Webydo) commented  ·

    Hello,

The menu on the Wayfair site is called a Mega Menu. Currently it's not possible in Webydo, but this is something we are looking into adding.

One of our top priorities right now is updating our menu element, so keep an eye out!

    Aaron,

If you were to copy the same code from the website you linked onto your Webydo page, it would work.

AdminMichael (Forum Admin, Webydo) commented  ·

The video working in chrome is all about how it's placed on the page. As I explained before Chrome is now blocking any videos that are not muted, so the mute function needs to be added to the URL of the video within it's embed code.

AdminMichael (Forum Admin, Webydo) commented  ·

If you go to Webydo.com or Knowledgebase.webydo.com you will see the chat window in the lower right corner

AdminMichael (Forum Admin, Webydo) commented  ·

    Hello Aaron,

Chat is not gone. We are experiencing an issue with GTM (Google Tag Manager) and Intercom. It's causing the chat window to not appear for everyone when logged into their accounts.

You can still access the chat window from the main Webydo site - all chats come to our support department.

If you want the contents within your iframe to always fit the size of the frame in Webydo simply make the width and height of the element you are embedding 100% instead of a set pixel width or height.

Once you have set your anchor link (which is outlined in the article "The Anchor Link Feature") you can then link it to any element that has the Link To option, including Menu links.

In your menu, if "About Us" is already setup as a link click on the settings icon, then choose "Anchor" from the "Link To" drop down.

If "About Us" is setup as a page instead of a link, use the "New Link" button to add a new link to your menu then follow the steps above.

To do this you can use the URL for the anchor point instead of the built in option.

Check out this anchor links article for help getting the URL: http://knowledgebase.webydo.com/links/anchor-links-to-another-page

    Hello,

    Thank you for your suggestions.

Auto import for the blog is a great idea, as is the ability to create folders for your URL's so they can match a previous website.

The best thing to do in these cases is use the 301 redirect option so your old URL's will redirect to the new blog posts.

The best place to post requests like these is on our participate forum (participate.webydo.com) that way you get an update when the feature is in development or released.

We know there have not been many new features or updates lately - our focus was elsewhere. But we are moving back to updates and you should see some new stuff coming soon!

No, unfortunately half the screen is not possible right now for video. You are able to do that with images though, and you could upload a gif. to get the video feel. To do that use the fluid grid gallery, we show it in the Webynars I sent you.

Please let me know if you have any more questions!

    Hello Kinza,

Our Video element has a "Fit to Width" option which you can enable. This will set the video to automatically load to the screen's width. It should fix the issue you are having.

Many of our elements have this feature. We recently had a Webinar covering them all, and showing you some neat tricks to use the elements in new ways.

I'm linking the video for you here: https://youtu.be/cJzrKuf6qpU
In addition, we have a responsive webinar that covers even more: https://youtu.be/Z6b5P0nnuII

If you are using Fit to Width and it's not working properly please contact support@webydo.com so that we may inspect the site and make sure it's working properly.

Always be sure to include the SID as well.

    Hello David,

    Please see my post below.
For main elements such as images and text you should try and keep them within the default 960. That way nothing gets cut off when a user has a smaller screen.

However we also offer many elements that will adjust with screen sizes. All the info is found below.

    Alana

AdminMichael (Forum Admin, Webydo) commented  ·

    Hello,

We have many elements that will do this for you. They will adjust with the size of your browser.

There is a "fit to width" option available in the Design Panel.
Click this link for an image to help you: http://goo.gl/PIuM5j

The elements that have the fit to width option are:

    Shape Element
    Shapes with an image background
    Video Element
    Gallery - Slide Show
    Gallery - Full Width
    Gallery - Fluid Grid
    Gallery - Fixed Grid
    Gallery - Image Rotator
    Gallery - Logo Rotator
    Gallery - Thumbnails

When using elements that do not have the fit to width options, such as text boxes just be sure to keep the text boxes within your site boundaries. We also recommend keeping the site size at the default 960px. That way, smaller monitors will not cut off any text outside the boundaries.

    I hope this helps.
